Shipping Policy

At RComfort, every piece of furniture is crafted with care and precision. As most of our products are made to order, we request customers to carefully review our shipping and delivery terms before placing an order.

Delivery Timelines

Made-to-Order Products

All RComfort products are manufactured after the order is confirmed. There is no system of quick or express delivery. Delivery timelines vary depending on the product type, design, and customisation requirements and will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.

In special cases, we may attempt to accommodate specific delivery time requests. However, this is subject to feasibility and must be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Such requests are not guaranteed.

Our team will contact you after purchase to confirm an estimated delivery window.

Delivery Schedule

  • Deliveries are generally scheduled between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • An approximate delivery date or window will be communicated in advance
  • Exact time-specific delivery slots cannot be guaranteed due to logistical and operational constraints

Rescheduling of Delivery

  • Any request to reschedule delivery must be made well in advance of the confirmed delivery date
  • Once a delivery date has been confirmed and rescheduled, the next rescheduled delivery will not be accommodated within the following 8 days
  • Repeated rescheduling may attract additional handling or delivery charges

Order Cancellation & Refunds

  • Order cancellations are subject to approval and applicable deductions
  • In case of approved cancellations or refunds, 50% of the order value will be deducted before processing the refund
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after necessary deductions as per company policy

Demurrage / Storage Charges

  • If the customer delays delivery or is unavailable to accept delivery, demurrage (storage) charges will apply after 25 days from the order date
  • Demurrage charges vary depending on the product type and size
  • Continued delay may result in increased charges or cancellation of the order without further refund

Preparing for Delivery

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Someone is present at the delivery location to receive the product
  • Adequate access through doorways, lifts, staircases, and corridors
  • Clear and safe entry for delivery personnel

Additional charges may apply if:

  • Staircase delivery or special handling is required
  • Products do not fit through standard access points

If delivery fails due to access or customer-side issues, it may be treated as a failed delivery, and applicable charges will be deducted.

Delays

While we make every effort to meet committed timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to material availability, operational constraints, weather, or transportation issues. Customers will be informed of any significant delays.

Disposal & Additional Services

  • Delivery charges do not include disposal of old furniture
  • Any disposal or additional service requests must be communicated at the time of ordering and will be charged separately

Receiving Your Order

  • A signature or confirmation is required upon delivery
  • Customers are advised to inspect the product at the time of delivery
  • Any visible defects or concerns must be reported immediately and noted at the time of delivery
  • Once acknowledged, the product will be considered delivered in acceptable condition
